Ink on paper

Here's a smattering of collections of doodles and proper drawings from across my recent years, all in black ballpoint pen on papers of various qualities. I've organized them with some regards to visual complexity but primarily to linguistic involvement. These poetics on my drawings have staged an unplanned evolution during the last few years. I used to keep a distance from outright poetry, but eventually my silent drawings began inviting titles which gradually became increasingly elaborate and soon enough turned into couplets, then the occasional bursts of lines of verse, then full fledged poems, and finally an ebullient outpouring of such. All degrees enjoy representation in these samplings.

Mightier than the sword,

more even than the word,

lines drawn in dust,

our cosmic touching cord.

Scraps of wist

and wisdom, cracked

inky whips of whits'

sharp imports.
